Planeta Formación y Universidades - Nex·ia, in the "Jornada Tecnológica" of Europa Press
Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) presents great challenges and opportunities, as it is identified as a transformative force with the potential to reshape the global and Spanish economy, but in turn requires projects that promote the adoption of this technology at both business and social level, with a relevant role of the Public Administration to close the existing gaps. This has been detailed during the round table “The revolution of generative AI”, framed in the "Jornada Tecnológica" of Europa Press held this Tuesday. Planeta Formación y Universidades participated in this conference. An event that brought together experts, companies and institutions to reflect on the challenges and opportunities posed by digitalisation in key sectors.
First of all, María González Veracruz, Secretary of State for Digitalisation and Artificial Intelligence, Ministry for Digital Transformation and Public Administration opened the conference. And Amandeep Gill, Assistant Secretary-General and United Nations Special Envoy for Digital and Emerging Technologies joined us for the first presentation.
In Round Table II: ‘Digital transformation in key sectors’, Jaime Rubiano, Project Director of Planeta Formación y Universidades - Nex·ia, shared how from our innovation centre we promote the application of AI in higher education, connecting research, education and collaboration with the business ecosystem.
‘At Planeta Formación y Universidades - Nex·ia we work with a transversal approach and we continue to be committed to an education aligned with the future, in which technology is not just a tool, but a way to improve employability and the development of key skills in students, teachers and organisations’.
