According to the report, 93% of Spanish workers know some AI tool, but only 10% have received training in their company. Two out of three employees (67%) use it in their personal lives, although only about half do so in the workplace. More than half of respondents (53%) consider training key to promoting its implementation in companies. The audiovisual sector (71%) and the educational sector (67%) lead the use of AI, followed by healthcare (42%) and business services (41%). Among the main obstacles are the lack of training (22%), limited business initiative (29%), and restricted access to tools (17%). Although Spain is among the countries with the lowest corporate training in AI (9%), six out of ten companies have already launched training programs, ahead of France, Italy, and Colombia.

After the presentation of results, a round table was held, moderated by journalist Arantxa Herranz, with the participation of Montse Civera, academic director of Planeta Formación y Universidades; Javier Martínez, Director of Customer Engineer at Google Cloud España; Carmen Manteca, Head of Talent Acquisition at Deloitte; Javier Villalón Coca, Director of Healthcare Management at Vithas; Silvia de Cristóbal Álvarez, Development and Transformation Manager at Grupo Atresmedia; and Irene Yusta, Director of Data & IA at MasOrange. During the debate, the speakers reflected on the gap between knowledge and the real adoption of AI in companies, the role of academic and corporate training in bridging this gap, opportunities for automation and the creation of new professional roles, the different speeds of implementation across sectors, and the importance of strategic alliances to foster training in ethical and technological skills.

The event was closed by Emilio Viciana, Minister of Education, Science and Universities of the Comunidad de Madrid, who highlighted the importance of collaboration between public institutions, companies, and the education sector to position Spain at the forefront of Artificial Intelligence adoption.
