Vocational training

We answer all your questions about Vocational Education and Training (VET) centres

Vocational Education and Training (VET) offers high labor market integration, with more than 3.8 million jobs expected in Spain until 2035. Its practical approach allows students to gain experience from the outset, facilitating their integration into the job market. Furthermore, its flexibility in study modes and modular structure allows it to adapt to the changing needs of the sector.

VET is divided into three levels according to the needs of the student:
Intermediate Level: For graduates of Secondary Education (ESO), it lasts two years and provides an initial technical qualification.

Higher Level: Intended for graduates of Intermediate Level, Baccalaureate, or higher, it offers specialized training and the possibility of university access.

Specialization Courses: One-year programs that expand knowledge in specific areas, also known as “VET Master’s Courses.”

These are the access requirements for VET:
Intermediate Level: ESO, Basic VET, equivalent qualification, or access test.
Higher Level: Baccalaureate or higher, Intermediate Level, or access test.
Specialization Course: Technical or Higher Technical qualification according to regulations.
For more information regarding these requirements, it can be consulted here.

Unlike other educational models, Vocational Education and Training is aimed at both those starting their professional career and those looking to update their knowledge or change their career path.

It combines theoretical and practical teaching, with a direct focus on employability, as it allows students to develop technical skills tailored to the requirements of various productive sectors.
