iFP signs a collaboration agreement with Ronald McDonald House

Planeta Formación y Universidades

iFP, a vocational training centre belonging to the Planeta Formación y Universidades higher education network, has signed a collaboration agreement with Ronald McDonald House with the aim of enabling students in the areas of Health and Education to attend the foundation to carry out workshops and activities for hospitalised children, applying their knowledge in a real environment and taking part in projects that have a positive impact on society.

The agreement was signed last Friday by Jordi Fainé, Director General of iFP, and Mari Carmen Toledo, Manager of Ronald McDonald House Barcelona, who both emphasised the importance of generating synergies between the educational sphere and the third sector to promote the employability of young people and, at the same time, contribute social value.

Thanks to this collaboration, students from different degree programmes, particularly in the health field (Intermediate Nursing Assistant and Advanced Oral Hygiene) and the social field (Advanced Early Childhood Education and Advanced Social Integration), will be able to apply their knowledge in a real-world setting, contributing to the proper development of the Foundation and supporting families with hospitalised children.

With this initiative, iFP reinforces its commitment to practical training that is connected to society and focused on employability, while promoting the active participation of its students in projects with a social impact.
