UNIE Universidad and Women4Cyber Spain join forces to promote female talent in the field of technology

UNIE Universidad, part of the Planeta Formación y Universidades higher education network, has signed an agreement with Women4Cyber Spain to promote women's participation in STEM degrees and reduce the gender gap in the technology sector.

The agreement, presented at the Arapiles Campus in the presence of the president of Women4Cyber, Eduvigis Ortiz, and the rector of UNIE, Segundo Píriz, includes mentoring programmes, networking, talks with female role models and awareness-raising activities to spark interest from an early age.

In addition, research projects on equality in technology will be promoted and training opportunities will be offered in bachelor's and master's degrees in engineering, computer science, data science and cybersecurity.

With this alliance, both institutions reinforce their commitment to a more diverse, innovative and inclusive society in the digital sphere.
