EAE Business School Barcelona and Banco Sabadell are training more than 200 professionals in people management
Barcelona, September 2026. More than 200 professionals from Banco Sabadell have taken part in a specialisation programme in Human Resources organised in partnership with EAE Business School Barcelona, an international business school belonging to Planeta Formación Universidades. The initiative, which was carried out in 11 groups, aimed to strengthen the capabilities of the Human Resources department and support its development towards a more strategic role within the organisation.
The programme addresses the changes that are transforming talent management, including the integration of artificial intelligence and new technologies into human resources functions. The training has also covered communication as a cross-cutting skill and the financial aspects linked to decision-making within a bank.
A training programme tailored to the new challenges facing staff
The Specialisation Programme in Human Resources arose from the need to prepare professionals in this field for the organisation’s new challenges. To this end, Banco Sabadell and EAE Business School Barcelona jointly designed a training programme tailored to the needs of this group and the organisation’s strategic objectives.
Throughout the programme, participants worked on various areas related to the role of Human Resources:
Talent management and development
The application of artificial intelligence and new technologies in Human Resources
Communication as a cross-cutting skill Understanding the financial aspects that influence decision-making
Applying the knowledge gained to the professional environment This approach sought to link training to the realities of day-to-day work and to encourage the practical application of what had been learnt.
An experience based on collaboration and continuous improvement
One of the key features of the programme has been its collaborative nature. The initiative was conceived as an evolving project, shaped by Banco Sabadell’s needs and the contributions of the various stakeholders involved.
Over 200 professionals trained in 11 groups
In total, more than 200 Banco Sabadell professionals have completed the programme, divided into 11 groups. The results of the initiative show a high level of satisfaction amongst participants, as well as a positive assessment of the content and the methodology used.
Tutors and mentors have also highlighted aspects such as participation, reflection and collaboration amongst the professionals. The practical application of the knowledge acquired, the participants’ commitment and the quality of the projects carried out were other elements that were highly valued throughout the programme.
