The Core opens the doors to the future of digital entertainment with a day focused on Fortnite and content creation with Suja
The campus of The Core, an institution belonging to Planeta Formación y Universidades, welcomed dozens of young people passionate about video games and the digital environment to a unique open day on Saturday 26 April, focused on the Fortnite phenomenon and the creation of content in the audiovisual ecosystem. The event, which featured the stellar participation of Suja -one of the most renowned Fortnite content creators in Spain-, offered a complete immersion in the professional opportunities emerging around the Epic Games universe.
One of the most anticipated moments of the day was the presentation of The Core map in Fortnite, developed by Suja and his team at Algon Games, which attendees were able to explore for the first time. Using practical examples, Suja explained the enormous potential of the Unreal Engine and the Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN), tools that are already revolutionising both the world of gaming and cinema within the audiovisual industry.
The day concluded with practical tips for monetising content creation, the importance of networking in the sector and an inspiring message: the future of entertainment is in the hands of those who dare to turn their passion into their profession.
With events such as Fortnite Open Day, The Core reinforces its commitment to bringing new generations closer to the real opportunities offered by the digital and audiovisual world. A booming sector which, according to data from Merca2, places Spain as the third European power in video game revenues, already contributing 0.11% of the national GDP. This growth confirms that turning a passion into a profession is not only possible, but will be increasingly necessary to drive the future of entertainment.
