ESEIT 2025 Graduation Ceremony: a celebration of purpose and transformation
The Higher School of Business, Engineering and Technology (ESEIT), part of the Planeta Formación y Universidades higher education network, held its 2025 Graduation Ceremony, an emotional event that brought together 131 new professionals and more than 300 guests, including family members, friends and teachers. More than a formal ceremony, the day became an experience of inspiration, pride and recognition of the efforts of those who successfully completed their academic training.
The graduates, from various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, represent ESEIT's academic diversity and its contribution to the country's development in areas such as administration, engineering, technology, communication, marketing, data analytics and business management.
During the ceremony, Ferran Calatayud, CEO of Broward International University and patron of the event, offered an inspiring message: ‘This diploma is not a goal, it is the starting point of the most important journey of your lives. The real challenge begins tomorrow, when your purpose is put to the test in the real world.’
His words encouraged graduates to exercise their leadership with ethics, purpose and empathy, using technology as an ally to generate positive impact.
One of the most moving moments was the speech by Alexis Celis Rojas, a graduate of the Big Data and Data Analytics programme, who spoke on behalf of the graduates:
‘We learned that behind every number there are people and realities that we must understand. Education at ESEIT taught us to turn information into knowledge and knowledge into action.’
The event reaffirmed ESEIT's commitment to training professionals of integrity and transformation, capable of leading with purpose and contributing to a more just, sustainable and humane society.
Graduating from ESEIT is synonymous with transformation, progress and belonging to a community that promotes ethical leadership, constant curiosity and meaningful action.
