News |

This initiative of the Community of Madrid promotes entrepreneurship, through the funds of the recovery, transformation and resilience plan financed by the European Union through the Next Generation fund.

23 of the 52 beneficiary projects will be accelerated by EAE Business School Madrid.

The Community of Madrid (CAM), through the Regional Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Sport, has published the final decision on the 52 projects selected for the cultural acceleration programme, which will receive a total of almost 5 million euros financed by the European Union's Next Generation Funds.

Of these 52 projects, 23 will have their business proposals accelerated by EAE Business School Madrid, which is part of Planeta Formación y Universidades. These include the areas of performing arts, visual arts and cultural events, publishing and creative services, as well as design, architecture, advertising, services, culture and cultural heritage.

According to Carmen Martos, director of the Impact and Drive Innovation Hub at EAE Madrid, "the cultural accelerator marks a significant milestone in EAE Business School Madrid's commitment to boost innovation, entrepreneurship and take creative projects to the next level. The cultural arts are essential to support communities, revitalise economies and nurture creative expression. Projects will be able to amplify their impact, using digital technologies with the common goal of helping them generate more revenue and reach new audiences".

These entrepreneurship initiatives will not only receive an injection of capital for their progress, but will also be provided with comprehensive accompaniment, ensuring a successful implementation of the ideas with the highest growth potential. The school will play a key role as a mentor and tutor through intensive training programmes to promote a cooperative ecosystem with other key players and strategic entities in the sector.

In this initiative EAE Madrid seeks to boost entrepreneurship and talent in the region, strengthening the value chain of the cultural and creative industry and, therefore, acting as a stimulator for the recovery of the Spanish economy.

All this with the aim of revaluing the cultural industry and positioning Spain as a leading Audiovisual Hub in Europe.
