Planeta Formación y Universidades and Microsoft extend their technological alliance in Latin America by implementing their innovative project in response to educational needs

Planeta Formación y Universidades and Microsoft Spain are making progress in their strategic alliance with the implementation in Colombia of an innovative comprehensive educational management system based on Microsoft technology. IBERO Corporación Universitaria Iberoamericana will incorporate this new educational management tool that will provide comprehensive support to students and guide them in their academic career.

IBERO students and potential students will benefit from personalised assistance and monitoring throughout their educational experience, with a high standard of quality, from selection, enrolment and incorporation, as well as during their academic period and once they have completed their studies.

This new system also aims to add value to students through personalised academic guidance throughout their entire educational career. Through this alliance, Planeta Formación and Universidades places IBERO at the forefront of the most innovative higher education centres in the world with cutting-edge technology in academic management.

Implementation

The group's objective is to deploy this tool in all educational institutions in Spain, Europe, USA, Latin America and North Africa and thus reach more than 120,000 students worldwide.

80% of the institutions belonging to Planeta Formación and Universidades in Europe, in Spain, France and Italy, already have this new integrated academic management system from which all their students benefit. It is expected that by 2024 it will be implemented in 100% of the educational institutions in the Planeta Formación y Universidades network worldwide.
