The Core School, the first school of Entertainment Sciences in Europe, belonging to Planeta Formación y Universidades, expands its educational offer and launches its own professional training centre, which will offer nine higher degree programmes and a specialisation programme. In this way, The Core School now offers comprehensive training in the field of audiovisuals and entertainment, with a complete academic offer of more than 50 training programmes, including higher education cycles, degrees, master's degrees, postgraduate courses and specialisation courses.

Among the new qualifications that The Core School incorporates in the field of vocational training are nine higher education cycles and a specialisation programme. Thus, students will be able to train in multiplatform application development, web applications, cybersecurity in the information technology environment, marketing and advertising, among others.

"At The Core School we are especially excited about this new launch, which consolidates our role as a benchmark in entertainment training in our country. In our centre we are committed to being permanently connected to the needs of the industry, and this step responds precisely to that demand, offering our students a more complete and adapted training", highlights Serafín Barros, director of the Vocational Training Centre.

The new vocational training degrees will also be taught at The Core School's headquarters, which is located in one of the largest audiovisual hubs in Europe, Madrid Content City (Tres Cantos). In this way, The Core School takes another step forward in its commitment to its integrated vision of the entertainment industry, incorporating vocational training professionals, who are key to the sector's employment reality. Thus, the students, while being trained, will work in a collaborative model that integrates different disciplines in the same space. With this move, The Core School continues to promote the Spanish entertainment and media industry which, according to the Entertainment and Media Outlook 2022-2027 Spain report, prepared by PwC, will grow by 4.6% until 2027, reaching 35,011 million euros.
